Following Mr Phoenix' very successful and informative week-long conference in Nashville, Tennessee, Hampsthwaite school is gearing up to work with International partners and schools in the USA, with a focus on enriching learning through new technologies, communication and networking. Over the coming year, we will be engaging in a wide range of activities, working with schools in the UK and USA, as we develop learning through ICT as part of the Discovery Educator Network (DEN).
The first activities will centre on International Dot Day on September 15th; during this term classes will be starting to use ICT in new and innovative ways to share and develop learning in the classrooms, and we will be connecting our learning with schools in the USA. We will also be hosting teacher training sessions as the Discovery Network develops here in the UK.
