Spring Term 2022

This term are theme is 'Travel and Transport'. We will be looking at how transport has evolved and identify where different forms of transport were created. 

In DT we will be looking at structures and how bridges have been created. We will then have a go at making our own bridges for our railway to go over.

This term we will be bracing ourselves for the elements, whilst enjoying our learning in 'Forest schools'. We will be building water tight dens and learning how to light a fire safely. We will also have an opportunity to have hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows.

Autumn Term 2021

Team Unicorn have had a great first term settling into routines and classroom. We have enjoyed the themes 'Superheroes' and 'To Infinity and beyond'. We have looked at key historical figures such as Florence Nightingale, Mary Seacole, Neil Armstrong and Tim Peake. We have been busy designing and building moving moon buggies too.

We opened our classroom up to the parent s to come in and see our learning we had done so far. We had a mini cake shop where parents could come a buy mince pies or cup cakes, the money raised was given to Leeds Children's Hospital.

During Harvest week we enjoyed delivering gifts to residents in the village. 

To finish off the autumn term we performed our Nativity 'Manger Mouse' in the church and parents were able to join us to watch our performance.
