Welcome to Team Titan!

Team Titan is our Year 5/6 class. We explore themes such as 'CSI', 'The Jungle Book', 'Troy Story' and many more. The children always complete a range of wonderful work and are really enthusiastic about all our topics.

We develop our learning through many curriculum subjects, for example in English writing newspaper articles to announce the outbreak of WWII and diary extracts in the role of Macbeth. We investigate aspects of our topic work through science, design technology and ICT, such as designing bridges during our river topic and painting portraits of monarchs during our topic of the Tudors. 

We enjoy going on educational trips such as Eden Camp and a geography river study and having visitors into school such as the Harrogate Theatre.

Every year, we also go on a residential - we do an outdoor and adventurous sporting stay to East Barnby and a wider curriculum opportunities on alternate years.
