Wednesday 7th June
Wow time has really flown by these last few days probably because we've packed so much in! We've had a fantastic time but we will be glad to sleep in our own beds tonight! Today all groups did the Sensory Trail and Groups 1 and 2 did Jacob's Ladder whilst groups 3 & 4 did All Aboard
Tuesday 6th June
Another action-packed day here. Groups 1 and 2 have done Quick Flight, Problem-Solving, Trapeze and All Aboard, whilst Groups 3 and 4 have done Jacob's Ladder, Quick Flight, Trapeze and Problem-Solving. We are becoming experts at conquering our fears and getting in and out of harnesses! We ended the day with some frisbee golf in the woods. That was great fun and tested our orienteering skills as well as our throwing!
Monday 5th June
We had an action-packed day today packing in the Giant Swing, Challenge Course, Archery Tag and Aeroball all before tea! Then in the evening we played Ambush which was a huge game of hide and seek in the grounds.
Giant Swing - We all had to pull the swing up into the trees and then there was a sudden drop and we swung through the trees. It was a real adrenaline rush!
Challenge Course - a team-building, problem-solving obstacle course.
Archery Tag - as fun as it sounds! We had two teams each trying to eliminate the other with our giant soft ended arrows.
Aeroball - a highly competitive game on trampolines trying to score in opposite hoops.
Sunday 4th June
We all arrived safely and had a tasty tea, tour of the facilities and then unpacked. Tonight we played Laser Tag all together and had a great time.
The time for our residential is fast approaching and we are really looking forward to it!
Please see the information below to help you prepare. There is the powerpoint from the parent meeting, the kit list, the price list for the tuck shop to help you plan your spending and the video to show you what a PGL residential is all about.
