Team Dragon - Spring 2022

We have started the Spring term with an exciting topic on The Arctic. The children have enjoyed working together to make a polar role-play area and are now having fun pretending to be explorers. We have investigated different ways of melting ice to free the animals in the 'icebergs'. We have enjoyed using all the areas of provision both inside and outside, sometimes doing activities initiated by the adults and other times led the children.

Team Dragon have had lots of fun settling in to new routines, making friends and exploring their learning environment. We were lucky enough to have our Garden Area revamped over the summer holidays and we are enjoying learning in it, alongside Team Pixie.

This term we have enjoyed learning about Animals, Light and Dark and Christmas. We have enjoyed trips around our local area and had visitors in.

Each Friday we have 'Big Read' where parents are invited in to share books with the children before they start their school day.
