Team Unicorn - Year 1 and Year 2

Welcome to Team Unicorn, where all our learners grow!

 

In Team Unicorn we love to be dynamic, creative, investigative and become natural explores of the world around us. Through carefully chosen themes that enable each child to develop their key skills within all areas of the curriculum, and that facilitates them to become authors, artists, builders, historians and mathematicians.

 

Some of the themes we have covered are 'All About Me', 'Hot and Cold', 'Superheroes', 'Kings and Queens', 'To Infinity and beyond' and many more based on the children's interests.

 

We love to explore our natural habitat, where we can access our forest school area and go mini beast hunting in our school garden. We also enjoy building our links within our local community, such as our annual deliveries of harvest gifts to residents around the village. We like to help raise money for local charities which are important to us, such as Harrogate and Leeds Hospital children's units.
