Impact
Hampsthwaite uses rigorous triangulated monitoring throughout the year to gauge the impact of the curriculum design. Subject Leaders monitor individual subjects termly: reviewing learning, evaluating pupil voice, providing individual feedback to move practice forward, celebrating positives and highlighting areas of development. Our whole school team strengthen our vision and values as we work together to reflect upon our curriculum and share outcomes, driving forward next steps. Learning is measured through careful analysis of application of skills across the curriculum; showing how acquisition of knowledge is enhanced dramatically by expectations to evidence quality thinking and demonstrate individual understanding. In pupil discussions, children are clearly able to articulate what they have learnt previously, what they would like to find out and the new learning that has taken place..
Below is a visual representation of the Leadership Structure for the current academic year. This clearly highlights which members of staff have responsibility for the different areas within school. If you have any questions about a specific subject area, then please contact the subject leader via the school office.
Also, if you have any skills or subject knowledge that you feel would be of benefit to our school, and you are willing to donate your time to the school, then we would love to hear from you.
