ROAD SAFETY

Heading out with our hi-viz jackets on, we talked through the Green Cross Code and remembered Lauren Doherty's wise words and practised crossing the road safely outside school. 

BUSINESS AS USUAL

Team Griffin are working on a fabulous DT project to make a working torch suitable for a specific purpose and designed individually for a specific group of people. 

In pairs, a company name was agreed and lanyard prepared for identification purposes. Emails are received with the weekly tasks and staff members need to address their questions to the boss, Mrs Light (A.K.A. Mrs Hudson - class teacher).

Remembrance Poetry by Lily 

I asked my heart about the soldiers who died...

"What colours do you remember that were back there?"

"Red."

"Why red?" I asked my heart. Then it answered:

"Because of the love."

But then I thought about purple. My heart answered:

"It's about the magic and the friendly animals."

"Then how about orange?"

"It's about the happiness." Then it said:

"What about the peace?"

"That would be white."

"Ah yes!" my heart said, in a quiet voice. 

THANKFULNESS
